Bass Teacher REACTS, Steve Di Giorgio Overactive Imagination by DEATH Absolute Bass MASTERY
Despite my rock and metal roots, I have never listened to DEATH That changes today as I check out a bass playthrough of Overactive Imagination from Steve DiGiorgio, courtesy of darkglasselectronics This track is from their landmark 1993 album Individual Thought Patterns, and I really need to go back and explore their full catalogue now. This was a real treat to watch considering my main exposure to Steves work has been through Testament over the years. In this video I analyze all of Steves techniques including his fast chord strumming, his incorporation of fast doublestops within a riff, his VERY odd thumbmuting technique (Ive NEVER seen this before), tips on achieving fluid 3finger technique, his subtle incorporation of traditional fretless playing during certain riffs, and much more. I forgot how INSANE of a player Steve was thank you all for this request New Videos Every Week
