At long last. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of SpiderMan: Turn Off The Dark on Broadway (today as of upload date), I present a full recording of perhaps the best quality recording on the internet of either version of the show. This version was the second and final version of the play, which ran from 2011 to 2014. The original version was much weirder, with Julie Taymor introducing a bizarre story featuring the Greek legend Arachne, believed by some to be the world s first spider. While the first act of version 1. 0 was basically just footnotes from Sam Raimi s first two SpiderMan films, the second act featured a wildly original story about Arachne falling in love with SpiderMan and creating bizarre dreams to try and lure him away from Mary Jane. This was also the version that featured the muchscrutized number Deeply Furious in which giant spiders sing about shoes.
