In this 1952 recording, the late Brazilian pianist Guiomar Novaes performs Alexander Siloti s arrangement of the Prelude from Bach s Prelude and Fugue in G minor, BWV 535. I created this video from the LP shown above, a demonstration, promotion album that featuring tracks from several of Novaes recordings, and which was designed to persuade record store owners to stock more of her LPs.
