1961 Tonka Pickup Truck Restoration

I purchased this 1961 Tonka Pickup truck off eBay on 3720. Once I received it I was thrilled with the condition. It was an absolutely perfect candidate for a full restoration. The unit had paint flaking, rust coming through, all of the polished parts were dull and had surface rust, the windshield was broken, one wheel was missing and the others were old cracked and brittle. What a lucky toy to end up finding its way here. If only the child that once played with it could see it now. This toy needed multiple new parts. The tailgate was missing, the windshield was broken, white walls were too cracked and brittle to use and the hub caps were just no good. The truck was sandblasted and powder coated before reassembling and came out wonderful It will fit in perfectly with the rest of its new found friends.
