Village Of Rabbits (1949)
Unused, unissued footage dates and locations may be unknown or unclear. Quirky footage of rabbits everywhere in village of Havering, Essex. A woman in a rabbit fur coat and hat walks up to the front of a village shop. Another befurred woman pushing a pram with a little girl joins her. The first woman looks in the pram and we see two black bunnies in there. She strokes them with her rabbitfur mittens. The little girl is wearing a pixie hood and has her hands in a white rabbitfur muff. The first woman is carrying a basket with a white rabbit in it (she also has rather ratted hair couldn t she have brushed it for the Pathe camera ). They all go inside the shop. C, U of sign above the door reading Butcher s.
