Chloé Zhao and the Nomadland Team Celebrate Best Picture Win

Nomadland takes home Best Picture at this year s Academy Awards. After winning the night s crowning achievement, Zhao and the team behind the film spoke with reporters backstage and described the effort of completing and releasing a film during the COVID19 pandemic. When asked about the rise of antiAsian hate crimes in the United States, Zhao described the power of filmmaking as a tool to unite people against hate.
