03 09 2024 Nahunta, GA Tornado damage, interview with survivor ( VOSOT)

NOT FOR BROADCAST Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. NAHUNTA, Georgia A tornado tore through Brantley County Georgia in a more rural area of Nahunta. Multiple mobile, manufactured homes sustained damage. One was completely flipped and wrapped around a tree. There were no reported injuries in the immediate aftermath. Powerlines were down across the roadways. Damage located at Matthew Circle and Long Lake Road. Heather Mikels was in a mobile home when the tornado hit. Her property sustained damage was was less than a block west of the mobile home that was completely destroyed. It s not believed anyone was in the flattened structure when the tornado hit.
