8 29 2021 New Orleans, La Hurricane Ida dramatic water rescues S0 TS fatality

NOT FOR BROADCAST Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. Numerous first person water rescues after cars drive into deep water on Interstate 10 in New Orleans. As a good samaritan was rescuing one person he is almost hit by a pickup truck plunging in the water. One lady is a nurse who was trying to deliver medication who was rescued by an off duty Italian Naval officer. Unfortunately one man drowned, interview with the man who jumped in the water to try and help, found the man, did CPR but unfortunately it was too late.
