When saying Good morning ladies and gentlemen creates offence

The London NorthEastern Railway, (LNER) has warned staff to avoid greeting passengers with any mention of ladies and gentlemen or boys and girls, following a complaint from a passenger who claims to be none of these things. The idea that there are really an infinite number of genders is now being taught in schools to children as young as five.
