CJ, Sweet, and Big Smoke make an appearance in GTA 5 Well, sort of When playing on select missions, a parallel of CJ and his crew can be seen riding bikes, replicating the classic GTA: San Andreas opening mission Not only are the identical, but they re leaving the same Grove Street area that CJ used to live in. Though they aren t in fact the exact same people, it s clear that Rockstar Games threw this in here to tease us with some of our nostalgia and memories Who knows, maybe we ll see CJ in the future
