Carhartt WIP Radio June 2023 Hi Tech, FXHE

This months edition welcomes HiTech, an emerging trio recently featured in issue 08 of WIP magazine, who are composed of King Milo, Milf Melly and 47 Chops. Since dropping their selftitled debut album in 2022, HiTech have garnered a reputation for being one of the most exciting and innovative acts to have emerged from Detroit in recent years. For this months show, the group have created a timebending mix featuring tracks from their selftitled debut project, as well as songs from their newest release DÉTWAT. The mix is an evolution of ghettotech, booty house, juke and footwork in other words, their own unique DWarp sound. Accompanying the mix is an article taken from WIP magazine s latest issue, which includes a series of images shot by photographer Samuel Trotter and an interview by the writer DeForrest Brown Jr. .
