Be Amazed

Hi everyone my name is Justin Shin and my older sister, Joanne, suffered a brain aneurysm and two strokes back in 2006, which took her ability to walk, ruptured her brain functions, and impaired her physically. In 2012, she wrote a poem called Value of Self, which won an award for outstanding interpretation at the Maryland PTA Reflections Program. This poem inspired me to make this short documentary in order share her story. Huge thank you to my sister who bravely shared her story and my parents for inspiring us to keep moving forward.
