Irpin: destroyed, but unconquered
Before the war, Irpin was one of the most successful settlements in Ukraine. The city topped the ranking of migratory attractiveness and was among the three safest cities in the country. It was a city of health and sports, a city of cozy parks and beautiful squares, a city of children s smiles and couples in love, a city of happy people. But Russian aggression has changed everything. Today Irpin leads another ranking the most destroyed cities of Kyiv region. The occupiers destroyed almost 70 of the city s housing and social infrastructure. 4, 000 families were left homeless. But the worst thing is that 290 civilians were brutally killed by the invaders and will never see their relatives, friends and their city again.
