A Fashion Forecast for 1950 by our Captive Cartoonist Joe Introductory intertitle reads: In olden times fashions were designed simply for looks. No attention was paid to Drawing of a man who wears a hat with a feather sticking out of it. C, U drawing of a woman wearing a shawl around her head. Drawing of a woman in the year 1300 wearing a draped head dress. Mediaeval style headgear. 1400 A. D. is represented by a scarf with a little hat perched on top. A wimple is next. Various depictions of Elizabethan head gear and other styles from other eras follow. Our cartoonist, normally quite harmless, foretells a few useful fashions of the Through stop frame animation we see drawings and words appear from the point of a pencil. Poor old henpeck.
