Tape Measure Hack, Trick

Did a lot of renovations during the summer and one of the most frustrating experience was using the tape measure on a vertical wall, especially while on a ladder. So I made a simple pencil holder that worked well, but had a few limitations, like the pencil was hard to be replaced or sharpened and also it needed a pointer for precise measurement.
