Chromatic Aberration in AFTER EFFECTS RGB Split Tutorial 2021 ( Two Techniques NO PLUGINS)
In this video, I show you how to achieve Chromatic Aberration in After Effects. Some people also call it RGB Split, color fringing, purple fringing and so on. Its a natural effect, that appears in camera lens when it cant bring all the color wavelengths to the same focal plane. Its a problem that camera manufacturers are trying to fix, but we sometimes want to use it creatively in our videos. It can be used to achieve a retro effect (like from the 70s or 80s) or for a glitch transition. Either way it is beneficial to learn how to do it, its another addition to your After Effects skillset.
