About Lambent Rag I wanted the last half of this album to make the listener feel like they were getting cuddled by a venus fly trap. This earlier piece felt like the perfect opening to beckon you into that narrative. As a single I wanted it to be sweet, innocent, addictive. Micing up pianos feels like something you can finesse with infinite subtlety. Its hard to know when to stop doing something you enjoy so much.
