Voices One

Video made by Jolanda Moletta: Listen, buy: Karen Vogt s new release is a vocal ambient work crafted from homemade recordings by her friends and listeners. The project began with an invitation: record yourself whispering the phrase I just want to feel. The fifty submissions she was sent form the basis for I Just Want to Feel, a 4 track EP assembled, mixed, and produced by Vogt, mastered by sound artist, engineer Stephan Mathieu and released through Coriolis Sounds Vogt invited artist Jolanda Moletta to design all the accompanying visuals for the project. She contributes a beautiful series of images, collages and videos that further immerses the listener in the sounds and possibilities of the human voice. With the universe as a backdrop, we are left to contemplate our own response to the work.
