The Prophetess by Anna Halprin (re staged by Dohee Lee)

This Dance is inspired by Anna Halprin s original piece, The Prophetess (1948), which was based on the story of the biblical figure Deborah, the only female judge mentioned in the Bible. I dedicate this piece to Anna and all the women who continue to fight for justice and peace around the world.
