Legends Dirk Bogarde, actor and author

This is a brief TV documentary about the popular British movie star who became a matinee idol in the 1950s and 60s, later taking on more serious film roles, and finally becoming a bestselling author of several memoirs and novels. He was knighted in 1992 and died in 1999 aged 78. This programme was made the following year and is uploaded here with all due acknowledgements.
