Both athletes went strike for strike with each other in the opening stanza, but the deadlock was broken when The Bicolano secured a takedown and swiftly moved to mount. Mardian tried to escape, giving up his back in the process, where the Filipino quickly sunk his hooks in and cinched in the rearnaked choke, putting the Indonesian to sleep in the very first round Sub
