Way back when I first posted my Van Halen cover, I got a text from my friend Aleka (whom I hadn t spoken to in a while) that read something along the lines of Hey Mike I didn t know you could sing After catching her up on my musical endeavors, she informed me that she too was a singer. So when she sent me a vocal demo that totally blew me away, I knew immediately that we had to collaborate on a song. We decided that Heartlines by Florence and the Machine would be the perfect showcase for a duet
