China Sandaoling, Serving the Opencast Mine (1). December 2018

This sequence shows Part 1 of a brief compilation of empty and loaded trains serving the opencast coal mine at Sandaoling in China s Xinjiang Province. The JS Class 282 s propel the empty trains over a summit at the top of the system before rolling downhill into the mine area. Loaded trains have a long slow struggle to climb back up towards the summit before going on to the unloading points. Recorded in December 2018.
