Jim Gallants Hydrofoil Trimaran Sailboat

A 20 foot hydrofoil trimaran sailboat built from a Supercat 20 catamaran hull with stitch and glue constructed amas (outer hulls). More info on this here: This video shot on 6, 11, 2019 in Liberty Bay by Poulsbo, WA. Jim at the helm, Paul Gallagher handling the jib. Winds were approx. 1213 knots out of the north. A winglet tip broke off of one of the main foils near the end of the session. Then the aka (cross bar connect all the hulls) rotated a few degrees forward, causing the crash at the end of the video. Will make repairs and get foiling again
