VOICE FROM AFAR tells us, through the use of monologues, stories from the lives of four characters. Through these stories we get an insight into life in Britain today. Barry Bliss (writer, Director) has collaborated again with many of the cast and crew with whom he made POPPIES the previous year. The VOICE FROM AFAR acting lineup is Paul McGann, Gary Kemp, Susan Vidler and Paul Mari. This is an experimental film and was shot over five days between December 2005 and January 2006 in the South Coast town of Margate.
