Heavy floods hit the region of Navarre, including Pamplona, in Spain on December 10th 2021. Heavy rain caused by Storm Barra meant the Agra River burst it s banks, flooding surrounding areas. Particularly affected was the Rochapea neighbourhood in Pamplona. Streets were flooded with cars washed away due to the force of the water. Bridges were submerged due to the height of the floods. Some areas became isolated, as travel was impossible. Houses were flooded, with residents forced to seek higher ground. Rescue efforts are underway, with emergency shelters have beens set up to help affected citizens.
