Flying Farmer (1947)
Titles read: FLYING FARMER. Ipswich, Suffolk. Farmer Mr Prentice leaves his country house, saying goodbye to his wife and daughter. He walks over to his Auster plane in a field and prepares it for a flight. His dog jumps into the passenger seat. Mr Prentice takes off. Aerial views as we fly over the countryside. Brief shot of Mr Prentice at the controls. He lands in a field behind a haystack and meets up with a waiting business acquaintance. They walk over to the haystack, sniff the hay and discuss the size and price. Mr Prentice writes out a cheque and shakes hands with the man.
