Hey all Patrick here. I wrote this piece years ago for my band Break of Reality, and since we had the amazing Dover Quartet already in the studio, we figured we d play through it and share with you. I read somewhere that there are nine stages of emotions one can go through following a traumatic event or loss, and I wrote this piece to explore those different stages through music. Though initially written for six cellos (it s on Break of Reality s album TEN ), it was an easy transition to move the parts
