British GT Championship 2023 Silverstone 500 Battle For The Lead Dan Harper vs. Sandy Mitchell

BMW works driver Dan Harper had been closing the gap to Sandy Mitchell s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, 78 for several laps before making his move for the lead of the race. Harper tricked Mitchell having showed a fake intention to commit an overtaking maneuver on the outside line, thus allowed himself to quickly change direction to the inside one and lay a proper trajectory in order to catch up with Mitchell. Both cars went sidebyside on the main straight of the Silverstone circuit until Harper eventually got ahead. BMW M4 GT3, 91 kept the lead and won the race having started from 18th position on the grid.
