Phenomenon of Man Teilhard de Chardin is a video encapsulation of de Chardin s spiritual philosophy, produced by Pam Brooks and Jim Abell. Teilhard de Chardin (1881 1955) was a French philosopher and Jesuit priest who trained as a paleontologist and geologist and took part in the discovery of Peking Man. In his masterpiece, The Phenomenon of Man, he postulates man as situated in an evolving universe, describing the evolutionary process of matter, life, thought and mind as originating from a oneness that has an evolutionary purpose.
