Neck stretches
Sitting at a desk and staring at a screen all day might result in tight muscles at the back of your neck as they overwork to hold the head upright. Tight neck muscles may cause tension where they attach on the skull creating headaches. By stretching out these muscles it may relieve some of those pains. It is also extremely important for your yoga practice to warm up neck muscles before getting into inversions such as : Shoulderstand, Headstand, Halasana, Karnapidasana, etc. Stretching your neck can have a positive impact on your pain, posture, and overall mobility.
