Synth Stuff Ep. 5 Kawai K1

Here s an unusual one. The K1 was a budget oriented digital synth from 1988. The sound sits somewhere between a Roland D50 and a Korg M1, although much more lofi. That lofi character is actually kind of nice sometimes. It s not always the right sound, but it s a cool flavor when you find a way to squeeze it into a track. This is another synth that s really fun to put through some spacedout pedals. One day, I d really like to have a K4.
