Temperance Festival. Location of events unknown. Wonderful film of 1920s carnival attractions crowds. Opens w, shot looking over crowd toward entrances to tent shows elaborately painted facades w, signs to entice crowds; some built up like front of house w, porch for barkers; ticketsellers. Fun Show; Drama Sentiment; Fat French Girl; Novelties; etc. Large crowd is packed tight in front of these. Ride w, people in hanging seats spinning around on merrygoround ride. Another ride w, people seated in a thing that spins while tipping from side to side says TiltaWhirl (though not same ride I know by that name). Shot panning on crowd all facing camera; holding up white bags (probably not containing booze SL). Barkers addressing crowd holding up cylinders wrapped in tissue paper.
