James Francis Cameron(born August 16, 1954) is a Canadian filmmaker, artist, and environmentalist, who is best known for making science fiction and epic action movies. The son of an engineer, he majored in physics before switching to English. He then drove a truck to support his screenwriting ambition. He first gained recognition for creating Terminator series, Aliens, The Abyss and eventually directed two of the highestgrossing films of all time. He won 3 oscars and other 69 awards.
