Full title reads: Beaconsfield 130 Women Runners take part in new event in Women s Athletics the Southern Counties Cross Country Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. People gathered around the start of a ladies cross country race. A fairly large field are lined up for the start. The starter drops his hand and the race begins. Different shots of action from the race. The runners come down a hill. Closer shot of three women as they run. More shots of the runners racing past the camera. The race is very obviously out in the country, there are trees and fields in shot at various points. One woman runs on her own, good shot as the camera follows her for quite a while.
