The film tells the story of Tessa (Langford), a student and model daughter, who has a longstanding relationship with a sweet and reliable boyfriend. In her first year of college, Tessa seems to have a future already written, but the coordinates of her safe and secure world change radically when she meets the mysterious Hardin Scott (Tiffin), an arrogant and rebellious and at the same time magnetic boy, who makes her questioning everything she thought she knew about herself and what she really wants out of life.
