Catharsis can help relieve tension, resolve internal conflicts and restore emotional balance. In this video we see a wise old man meditating in a surrealistic landscape preparing for such a purification. The breathtaking scenery with mountains, a river and the distant city can help us to detach from our everyday worries and take our thoughts to another world. The music I composed for the video is as meditative as the landscape. The combination of monastic chants, cello and piano creates an atmosphere of calm and rest that invites us to relax our minds and focus on the process of purification and renewal.
