Artist Steffani Jemisons Promise Machine was commissioned by MoMA in conjunction with the exhibition OneWay Ticket: Jacob Lawrences Migration Series and Other Visions of the Great Movement Organized as a procession through the Museums collection galleries, Promise Machine linked works of art from different time periods that consider utopia and abstraction. Performances took place June 2528, 2015.
