Nikki Haley warns Trumps driving people out of party and Republicans will lose if hes elected
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley campaigned in Michigan on Monday, one day ahead of the state s primary nominating contest. If Donald Trump is the candidate, Republicans will once again lose the election, she told supporters in Grand Rapids. After winning South Carolinas Republican primary vote on Saturday, former President Trump is firmly on track to secure the partys nomination in the coming weeks. But rival Haleys betterthanexpected showing in South Carolina exposed weaknesses on Trumps flank, particularly among more traditional Republicans and moderate voters. Haley won about 40 support in South Carolina after taking about 43 of the vote last month in the New Hampshire primary. In both cases, she was bolstered by independents and some Democrats who took part in the primary to back her over Trump. Haley insists she will fight on and argues that a large swath of Republicans continue to reject Trump. The Sun delivers breaking news, lates
