Sam Kininger Soulive live alto sax funk Right On

Soulive live Feb. 4, 2002. After playing two warmup tunes ( Steppin and Azucar ) as a trio, Soulive brings Sam Kininger on stage to get down and funky. Alas, the sound mix lacks the bass register of the keyboards. (What a pity, b, c Neal Evans has a mindboggling left hand. ) I hope that the clip is nonetheless interesting and enjoyable as an imperfect document of vintage Soulive with Sam Kininger in the lineup.
