Bella Davidovich plays Chopin Scherzo no. 2 video

Bella Davidovich playing Chopin s Scherzo no. 2, op. 31, in a video from 1963. Notice the August Förster piano. Davidovich studied with Konstantin Igumnov and Yakov Flier. At the 1949 Chopin competition she shared first prize with Halina CzernyStefanska. She was married to the great Russian violinist Julian Sitkovetsky. Their son is Dmitry Sitkovetsky.
