Signs Of A Prehistoric Village Ancient Southwestern Rock Art
I returned to an area I had previously explored because I felt I missed some things, just had a feeling and yes, I had indeed missed some things This area felt like a good spot, good view points on the cliffs, a creek and a spring in the distance. Plenty of natural features that could be used for shelters. I just think a prehistoric village was located here. Small scale farming could have been possible or maybe a seasonal village when temps were mild. I set out exploring the cliffs and boulders below and sure enough, I found some excellent rock art and evidence of shelter construction. Some of the rock art probably dated back thousands of years. And with the availability of water, I m sure this area has been continually inhabited for a very long time.
