Railroad Switching On A Bridge, Train Knocks Down Signal Iowa Traction Railway Teaser, CP Railroad
Railway switching on a railroad bridge and rare electric freight railroad getting grain loads on a railroad spur at a 4 lane highway railroad crossing. A Canadian Pacific Railroad local goes over the bridge, crosses a railroad diamond and drops the signal ( green signal changes to red ). These trains are in Mason City, Iowa. Listen to this awesome locomotive pull a string of covered hopper cars and then reverse down another industrial track. This is an excellent location to watch trains and the weather was perfect. These clips are from my trip to Iowa that I took on August 13, 2021. I still have some more to post of the Iowa Traction Railway that you see in this video. I have posted a couple of Iowa Traction Railway and I will be posting one soon that shows them working a grain elevator. This video shows a short piece of that but it is pretty cool to watch the last electric common carrier freight railroad in America. The railroad crossing is only cross buck protected. Here is an AWESOME video of Io
