9, 11 Prophetic WTC Rooftop Painting by Joanna Gilman Hyde

This is an art project Self Organizing Galaxy a 10, 000 square foot painting where the painting was done at the World Trade Center, 5 ten stories high at the base of the Twin Towers. Self Organizing Galaxy was painted the first week of September in 1984, took eight days to paint, and was signed on October 10th 1984 this was a year after Joanna graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York.
