The documentary is about five music producers (specifically, electronicasourced music) working with artists from other genres generally considered unrelated to electronica. DJ Premier was partnered with the Berklee Symphony Orchestra, with the focus of classical music; Skrillex with the remaining members of The Doors for rock; Pretty Lights was with Dr. Ralph Stanley, and later LeAnn Rimes for country; the Crystal Method with Martha Reeves of famed group Martha and The Vandellas for R B; and Mark Ronson worked on jazz (specifically Southernstyle jazz) with Erykah Badu, Trombone Shorty, members of The Dap Kings, Zigaboo Modeliste, and Yasiim Bey.
