Recorded live at the Madison Square Garden, New York on January 9, 1997 for David Bowie s 50th birthday benefit concert. The audio from this video comes from a 1997 bootleg CD originated from a soundboard digital stereo source. The quality is outstanding, the mix is not brickwalled for broadcast. The video comes, allegedly, from HBO s promo VHS tapes unfortunately, the quality is not so good. This concert was only officially released by HBO s payperview service on March 8, 1997. Unfortunately the first two minutes of this video were deliberately taped in poor quality someone must have used an exaggerated zoom while recording or editing.
