NOT FOR BROADCAST Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. An extraordinary drought and the beginning of a long heat wave created critical fire conditions today on the Beckwourth Complex Fire in California. The fire more than tripled in size today and caused several road closures on top of mandatory evacuations already in place. The fire is beginning to get close to structures as well as HWY 395. Shots from near Frenchman Lake where the fire burns out of control. Signage warning of fire conditions with massive smoke plumes in the background. Huge flames and a fire whirl. Day and night shots from up close and from a distance. Shot of electronic sign over Interstate 580 near downtown Reno, Nv warning of fire conditions and red flag warning with the huge smoke plume in background. More spread overnight with conditions not likely to improve much in the forecast.
