A Promised Rose Colored Conclusion The Subtext of Hyoukas Finale

Hyouka s final episode has a mixed I think it s as close to a perfect ending as one could have hoped for Hyouka. The final episode that we ll be covering in the RoseColored Dissection, The Doll Who Took a Detour is in so many ways the conclusion this series deserved and what its subtext says if you take a bit of a deeper look under the hood. I ll be the first to acknowledge that I didn t really get into a few of the social elements at play here I think I ll be tackling that in a Misc. Muse in the future along with a few other narrative threads I dropped for the sake of pacing and narrative flourish.
