Terry Parker (George Brent) is a pilot plagued by survivor s guilt after his family dies in a plane crash. In an attempt to rally his spirits, his dear friend Walter Pritcham (Warren William) nicknamed Gibraltar for his consistent influence takes Terry to a party. There Terry is swept off his feet by the dazzling Amy Prentiss (Kay Francis), who also falls for him.
