WORLD FASTEST VW AIRCOOLED SINGLE CAB CAMPERVAN + INTERVIEW

It was so good to see some big power aircooled busses, campervans, flat beds, call it what you want, back at Santa Pod. The wait was over at Doorslammers when Alex turned up in his fully built Type 2 single cab. When discussing records in the VW aircooled World, it is always a controversial conversation, but I m not here for all of that. As far as we know the quickest ever VW Type 2 Aircooled Van ran a 134mph, and that is the record that Alex is after. He has got the terminal speed record, and just needs that time now. On his first run in anger he ran an 129mph, and the Lamborghini in the other lane ran a European Record. Didn t know where to film :) :) On the 2nd run, he launched in 2nd gear, bogged down, and still run a 142mph.
